Yeshaya A. Larkin
Yeshaya A. Larkin, or “Shai,” is an associate attorney with Arendsen Cane Molnar LLP, where he works closely with partner Joseph C. Cane, Jr., principally handling general business, entertainment, digital media, technology, corporate, private equity, M&A, real estate and commercial transactional matters.
Mr. Larkin began his legal career in 2012, at the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), a leading civil legal services organization in New York City. As a NYLAG staff attorney, Mr. Larkin represented organizations and individuals in the wake of Superstorm Sandy in homeowners and flood insurance disputes and Federal Emergency Management Agency appeals. In his two years at NYLAG, Mr. Larkin’s advocacy efforts resulted in the recovery of several hundred thousand dollars in insurance and government proceeds for his clients.
In 2014, Mr. Larkin and his wife and children relocated to Los Angeles. Prior to taking the California Bar Exam and while awaiting the results, he worked at the Law Office of David B. Gardner, and handled Immigration Court litigation matters. He drafted briefs for all phases of litigation, including bond hearings, merits hearings, Board of Immigration appeals, and appeals to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Larkin made court appearances, and accompanied clients on their interviews by the Citizenship and Immigration Service.
Mr. Larkin received his law degree in 2012 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He has been subsequently admitted as an attorney in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
